Create Outlook Event with recurrence setting

The idea is:

I would like to use the Outlook Create Event function to create recurring events.

My use case:

My basic idea is to pull an .ics file from source A and create all events in destination B. It should also be possible to create recurring events.

I think it would be beneficial to add this because:

It has already been implemented in the Google integration for calendar entries. It would be consistent to support it for Outlook calendars as well.

Any resources to support this?
