Database recommendation

Questions

Hey there,

I’m interested in a recommendation for a database in n8n. Is there any preferred system (SQLite, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB) and why?

Best regards

I would recommend either Postgres or SQLite.

  • SQLite is for sure the easiest to run and also fastest.
  • Postgres is the better choice if you want to keep the data separate, you want to save a lot of data and you want to scale out.
