Default nodes all randomly "missing" from all workflows

Hey guys,

Woke up this morning without making any manual changes to our setup or installation at all and found 90% of the nodes in every workflow on our n8n setup are “missing” and look like the screenshot below.

Have tried all the basic things like running an update, restarting the server and etc.

Any ideas?

Information on your n8n setup

  • n8n version: 1.42.1
  • Database (default: SQLite):
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): Default
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): Docker via DigitalOcean
  • Operating system: Ubuntu/Linux

Update: All of the nodes work when added as new nodes in any workflow, but all of the nodes in our current old workflows appear as the screenshot above.

It’s every workflow in the account. Over 34.

Any workflow with such an issue will be fine. I’m interested only in it’s JSON content

Is this happening only in the UI, or are executions running in the background also failing?
