Didn’t receive license key email after entering email in popup on Hostinger VPS setup

Hi,

I recently set up n8n on my Hostinger VPS using Docker.

Everything worked fine — n8n is running, and I was able to access the dashboard. During the initial launch, I got the license popup and submitted my email address (I double-checked for typos).

However, it’s been over 10 hours and I still haven’t received any license key email. I’ve checked all inbox folders including spam/junk.

My Setup:
VPS: Hostinger

OS: Ubuntu (default image provided by Hostinger)

Install method: Docker + Docker Compose

n8n version: (latest version from Docker Hub at time of writing)

Email used: (masked here for privacy)

What I tried:
Rechecked spam folder

Tried restarting the container

Considering deleting volume to reset setup, but I’d prefer not to lose data

Questions:
Is there a way to re-trigger the license popup without wiping all data?

Can I manually trigger license key generation via .env or another method?

Is there any known issue with license key delivery delays?

Appreciate your help!

Thanks,
Vicky

I’ve also got this issue! I’m using the Hostinger N8N template image.

Did you manage get any luck after?

Same here!!

Any luck? Where can we get support for this?

It will work if we enter another email , by getting to setting > usage and plan

yes, try to enter another email.
So that you can receive license key.

Already tried multiple emails and didn’t work

@gabrieldedeco You could email [email protected] they maybe able to check see if they recieved via your email.

Also to re-enable the startup screen, which I don’t recommend editing, for postgres its stored here:

This doesn’t activate the license key screen though fyi

But I just setup another instance and type my gmail on the setup screens at start, email went straight to me (I used railway to spinup another instance quickly to get prompted again)
