I’m sort of surprised this doesn’t already exist, but it looks like there’s currently NO way to re-order fields in the Edit Fields (Set) node:
Can we please get this feature implemented? It would be a huge quality of life improvement. Thanks!

Yep. It’s an annoying process.
I feel like I’m taking crazy pills - I swear this was a feature at some point, that has now gone away.
The old set node let you move things up and down by clicking arrow buttons. drag and drop was never a thing I think.

I don’t think anyone mentioned “drag and drop” in this thread, only reordering.
Either way, any mechanism to reintroduce reordering would be welcome.

Someone dropped the ball here. There needs to be some sort of re-ordering for a reasonable user experience.
Seems 50% of the time, I end up having to punt to a code node.
Yes I need this feature as well! No only for Edit Fields node but for all nodes which has some list of fields like Notion blocks etc.

Only signed up to the forum to say this is really necessary. I work with n8n with a few clients and it’s really more that just cosmetics. Sometimes the order does affect following nodes when using another that takes all incoming inputs. Thank you!
