Edit Image node: adding text doesn't work

Hello,

I am testing this option in Docker with n8n Version 1.50.1. The feature to add text to an image is not working. Is this option still functional?

Hi @anicolco ,

I’ve split this off into its own topic for clarity. I did some tests and can confirm that adding text is not working - I have reported this to engineering (NODE-1521) and we’ll report back here when it’s fixed.

Here’s a small workflow to reproduce the issue:

The other options of the node are working.

Also, I installed the Community node “Edit Image+” yesterday, and the add text option didn’t work either.
I mention this in case it might help with the solution.

Hey @anicolco,

Could you add a font to the Edit Image node and set it to Arial (or another one) and let me know if that works.

I think the issue is around the default font option.
