Environment Variable to default remove "Append n8n Attribution"?

I’m new here so firstly thanks to anyone that takes the time to read this in an attempt to help out. I appreciate it a lot.

So the “Append n8n Attribution” thing is annoying as heck having to constantly manually toggle off. Is there an environment variable, setting or way to custom set config to “off” value by default?

The goal is to just have to always off and not need to go into the settings for every single node I add.

Any advice is appreciated and I’m still playing catch up with N8N so I do apologise if this has been covered already here. I did search in advance before asking but only found advice on how to turn it off manually, which I know how to do and frankly is the problem

It looks like your topic is missing some important information. Could you provide the following if applicable.

  • n8n version:
  • Database (default: SQLite):
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app):
  • Operating system:

Hi @TylerDurden

Thanks for sharing your feedback and I think we had already been discussing this internally.
I would suggest to make this post a feature request and give it a vote so we can see how strongly other users feel about this!

Thanks

I too can only agree with @TylerDurden. My team uses the embed version and a way to automatically disable the “Append n8n attribution” option for all nodes or even make the option invisible (when setting an environment variable) would look much more professional.

Thanks for considering this, hopefully there will be more interested users
