The idea is:
I deployed RocketChat to work with n8n. Just went to add Human in the loop and discovered RocketChat isn’t in the list. gasp! Let’s get that added.
My use case:
Pretty much everything in my homelab is deployed via kubernetes. When it came to an onprem chat server I tried just about everything out there and all the helm charts were seemingly not maintained … except for RocketChat which came right up, and it is awesome. I don’t have the option to use an off-prem server. (Though gmail can probably work as a work around for now, I guess, if I have to.)
I think it would be beneficial to add this because:
RocketChat is clearly a top contender as far an onprem open source deployments go. It should be included as an option. I’m sure it would be faster than using gmail.
Any resources to support this?
My own experience trying to find an up to date, officially maintained helm chart, for each onprem chat application to be tested.
Are you willing to work on this?
Possibly in a few months, but this is the kind of thing I’d have used today if it existed. I mean, what’s involved? I only installed n8n a few days ago. Maybe? I don’t really have a lot of time right now. (point me to the folder where the human-in-the-middle nodes are and i’ll take a look)
