How to share your tutorials

About this forum category

In this forum category we’re building a searchable library of n8n training material. Anyone can contribute - please read this topic to understand what we’re looking for and how to add your tutorial.

How to contribute

Just create a topic in this category and add your content - see below for specific instructions on posting video or written content.

It’s okay to post non-English content, but please remember that this is an international community. So, to make your content accessible for everyone you need to post it in the right subcategory for your language. Do this by selecting a language from the ‘subcategories’ field before clicking the ‘New Topic’ button:

Currently available languages are: English :uk: and French :fr: (Yes! If you click on them you’ll see only the content in that language).

If a category for your language is not yet available, please contact [email protected] and we’ll add it.

Tagging your tutorials

Adding tags will make your tutorial easier to find. It will also help us create ‘bundles’ of tutorials on specific topics in the future.

To add a tag, edit your topic’s title and click on the ‘optional tags’ field:

Posting video tutorials

Adding a video is easy! Just paste the YouTube or Vimeo link on an empty line and it’ll expand into a player. Note that you can’t upload your video files here - they need to be published elsewhere.

Please add some descriptive text to your post and add relevant links.

If your video is not in English, it must have subtitles - these are often generated by YouTube, but if you use another platform please add them yourself.

Posting written tutorials

We welcome written tutorials too. Using the forum’s editor, you can apply limited formatting, upload images etc., so please spend a little time on creating a pleasant layout.

Please make sure your topic starts with an image in HD ratio (1920x1080px) so that it will show up nicely in the tutorial gallery.

Quality Criteria

While we welcome community contributions, we also want to maintain a high quality standard. In order to do so, we require that videos: are well produced and contain a voice-over explaining the process.

We reserve the right to remove any posts that we feel are not up to our quality standard.

Hi there! I have a first tutorial about generating PDF files. It has already been posted on my website. Can I share a link here in a new thread or should I copy-paste it here without the link? What are the rules about such content?

You can share a link in a new topic, but please do provide a good description too - don’t just drop a link.
