I can't see the logs in the Executions tab

Hello guys,

I have a problem viewing the execution logs, when I go to the executions tab and click on the log, it keeps loading forever and doesn’t display anything.

Can you help me?

I use n8n hosted on a VPS.

It looks like your topic is missing some important information. Could you provide the following if applicable.

  • n8n version:
  • Database (default: SQLite):
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app):
  • Operating system:
  • n8n version: 1.75.2
  • Database (default: SQLite): Postgres
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main): own
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): Docker
  • Operating system Linux - Ubuntu 2204

Do you see any error messages in your browser console?

The only error I find is the one below, it only appears when the screen is loading for the first time.

When I select another log, it generates a log string in the browser like the one in the screenshot below:

anyone to help?

Hi @iagooli

Might be something specific to the selfhosted environment, I don’t see this issue happening elsewhere for the time being.

Can you:

  • double check your setup and see if you missed something (e.g. network setting, special config you might have enabled)
  • try on a guest session on that particular browser
  • try a different browser entirely
  • restart/recreate the container on the latest n8n version

Hope this helps!
