N8n software down?


Can’t seem to access to my n8n account from the software anymore. Says that “Please contact your admin. n8n not setup to send email right now.”

Any workarounds ? Can’t reset the password.

Hi @David_Steg, I am sorry to hear you’re having trouble. Could you provide the information from the forum template popping up when posting a new question? Especially how you have deployed n8n and which version of n8n you are running?

What exactly are you doing before getting this error?

I’m not even able to fetch these informations ; there’s no “Help > Version” button on top of the software, at least not on the login page, and can’t find a file showing the version in %Appdata% neither,

I’ve installed n8n from the website, during early september, it’s not in cloud

Okay, does that mean you’re using the desktop app? If so and you can’t remember the login details for it, you could reset the user management functionality as described here: Desktop app ask for login - #2 by MutedJam
