As the number of posts in Questions kept growing, we decided to separate basic n8n usage questions from more complex workflow-building discussions. Since n8n staff can’t design workflows for everyone, we’ve made that a collaborative community effort.

Here is a bit of insight, I’m seeing it pop up lately so might as well share it.
I used this to create my workflows when I was still using make.com days.
Explain the workflow in ,much detail, naturally, post it to claude.ai to write you a json copy and paste to get you started.
I haven’t used it for n8n yet, but then again I like building them out naturally now.
I have been using ai to learn alot more when it come’s to coding / servers.
Leverage Ai, think smarter by asking better quality questions.

I fail to see how that advice is relevant here. This category is meant to encourage collaboration on building workflows.
Sounds like a workflow to me. How does this process translate into a n8n workflow? I am also new to this.

Please forgive me if my original post wasn’t completely clear. After a bit of reflection, I see how it could be confusing.
I know it can be daunting to share workflows, especially when you’re just starting out and eager to dive into automation.
My goal was to help people create the basic workflows to get started but ultimately getting more acquainted with the current free AI tools available and using it constructively.
hi, i want to build a slack bot that’s going to be able to communicate with our ms sql data and get back the slack message in an easy to rad way.
since the sql tabase is complex as we store 70+ ecom client’s data… i am not sure how my workflow should look like? how to executy it properly…
our idea is to be able to create mvp that our clients could use directly via slack someday, but for now just to be good for internal use…
so e.g if I ask him for MTD revenue and best performing clients with all the key metrics (like per category, per product type, inventory, returns, forecasts, etc) then it should be able to execute needed queries and perform to get the results with key metrics and proposals for improvements
