New Google Sheet node read problem

Yesterday I updated my n8n cloud instance (tried both bet and stable release) and with that there were a lot of cool upgrades to the google sheet node, but now when reading from the google sheet I only get half of the columns as json output.

I only get column A to AI (35 columns) my sheet has over 75 columns.
I’ve already tried to set a custom range.

Am I missing something or is there some new limit on columns?

Information on your n8n setup

  • n8n version: n8n cloud with Version: 0.207.1
  • Database you’re using (default: SQLite): -
  • Running n8n with the execution process [own(default), main]: -
  • Running n8n via [Docker, npm, n8n.cloud, desktop app]: -

Hi @FelixL, I am so sorry for the trouble.

Are you by any chance seeing the “Some columns are hidden” message?

Iirc we had some reports about browsers crashing when displaying a large number of columns in the table view.

The JSON view does however still show all columns:

If that’s not what causes the problem for you, could you perhaps share a Google Sheet using which the problem can be reproduced (this doesn’t have to contain your original values of course, so please feel free to redact anything confidential in the example as long as the problem can be seen)?

Sorry for my late reply, Christmas and stuff ^^

Values were also missing from the json view.

I just have updated n8n to 0.210., if I can replicate the problem again I’ll update this post
In the meantime, I found 2 other bugs with the new google sheet node, will make a new post about them.

Probably fixed with 0.210.2
