Notion connectivity not making sense

Hello, I am able to find my database from list, with the node Notion “get many”. If I run the test step, it gets the right information from within the database of Notion. My issue comes when I try to use the “Update” database under properties, it can’t find anything. It brings up a red triangle with the error

It looks like your topic is missing some important information. Could you provide the following if applicable.

  • n8n version:
  • Database (default: SQLite):
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app):
  • Operating system:

Latest n8n version (of 02/28/25)
Database is a table in Notion
n8n cloud and windows

As you can see here I am able to choose the right database “from list” which means it connects the first time, just not the second node.

Make sure you have added your n8n integration into the page your are trying to update.

Go to the page in Notion, click the three dots at the top and click “Connections”.

You should be able to see your custom integration there.

Hello, It’s connected both integration and within the page itself.
I saw other threads mentioning this to be an issue. Is it possible its an n8n bug? and if so, how do I report it or when does it get fixed? I use Notion for everything.

I mean in the node itself when I choose “get” instead of update, I can find the right database and parameters, just when Ihave the node set to update, the ID or URL dont bring forth any matching parameters.

Could this be an issue on how the table was created?
