Options for customising the N8N Forms when embedded

The idea is:

To be able to customise the forms’ design when we embed them on a website.
I’d like to personalise the texts (label, input text, titles…), the input fields, the form container, the buttons…
Either through a N8N interface or via custom code ; same as for embedding chatbot widgets.

My use case:

I am currently using Hubspot forms for my website to capture leads but I like the options that N8N forms can allow to improve the user experience but the current form design doesn’t match my website’s branding so I cannot use it.

I think it would be beneficial to add this because:

It would make forms way more adopted in external-facing cases, matching the brand’s design.

Any resources to support this?

Are you willing to work on this?

I totally get that! Matching your brand’s design is super important for external-facing forms. That’s why I created n8n-nodes-custom-form – a custom n8n node that lets you fully style your forms to fit your brand.

Now you can get all the benefits of n8n forms without sacrificing design! Would love to hear your thoughts and any features you’d like to see. :rocket:

We already have some ideas around allowing custom CSS for the forms - would that solve it for you?

Yes, exactly the same approach as the chatbot widget that’s compatible with CSS would be really nice
