SAP native connectors

Hi there,

Any plans in the roadmap to get more native “Enterprise” connectors ? Let’s say standard SAP ECC or S/4 Hana connectors (i.e. JCO support) to consume BAPI, RFC, ALE without requesting for REST/SOAP/ODATA endpoints from SAP perspective ?

It might be super helpful for many SAP UCs around automation (SAP instance on private cloud for instance) :slight_smile: Any pointer to the connectors or nodes roadmap ? :raised_hands:

Hey @jdelomenie,

I have not seen anything specific for SAP at the moment but it could be could worth checking existing feature requests to get an idea of how popular those might be.

In fact, it would be good to support both SAP S/4 HANA editions, as ECC release will be EOL :

  • « cloud edition » : SaaS distribution, mainly ODATA interfaces
  • « On-premise edition » : self-hosted with JCO interface (BAPI, RFC, ALE, etc…)
