The n8n Academy is here (soft launch)
The first version of the n8n Academy is now live at learn.n8n.io. It is our new home for structured n8n learning: proper courses with hands-on lessons and a clear path from your first workflow to more advanced builds, all in one place instead of scattered across docs and posts. This is a soft launch, so expect a few rough edges. Your feedback shapes what comes next.
Courses
The academy will be launching with 4 courses available to take.
- QS101 n8n Quickstart .The fastest way in. If you are new to n8n or just want a refresher, n8n Quickstart gets you building a working workflow in one short sitting. You might recognize it: it is based on our original text courses, now updated with a new AI section added.
The n8n Foundations program
Three courses that take you from core concepts to building automations that hold up in production. Take them in order or independently.

N8N101: Essentials: Your First Workflows. The canvas, your first workflow, and how data moves through nodes: triggers, scheduling, mapping, transforming, and merging.

N8N102: Integrations: APIs and Connected Workflows. The technical core. HTTP requests, webhooks, authentication, pagination, flow logic, execution order, sub-workflows, Data Tables, and error handling.

N8N103: In Practice: AI, Testing, and Best Practices. The production-ready course. AI workflows, testing and debugging, and organizing workflows others can actually work with.
More courses are on the way.
How assessment works
You pass a course by completing its section quizzes, hands-on workflow exercises, and a final exam. Those three make up your grade.
The thing that trips people up: you do not need every unit marked complete (the green tick) to pass. The tick only tracks what you have viewed. It does not count toward your grade.
The first four courses all follow this structure. As the Academy grows, not every course will, so check the course overview for how each one is graded.
Badges and certificates
The old text courses and community badges are being retired.
Completion badges are now powered by Accredible, so they are verifiable and anyone can confirm they are real. You also get a completion certificate for finishing a course.
One note on wording: a completion certificate is not a certification. It confirms you completed the course. Formal n8n certifications, earned through an exam, are coming in Q3 and we will announce those separately.
Where to get help
Post in the community forum under the n8n Academy category and pick the relevant course sub category. That is the best place to reach us during the soft launch.
