Using objectid type field, foreign key (MONGODB)

While this is a feature request (and I’ll move it to the right forum for it so our product team can get their eyes on it), there is a workaround:

MongoDB update field value as ObjectId

let’s say you want to do a query from a id. Choose the Find operation Choose the Collection you want to get data from and write the expression like: { "$expr": { "$eq": ["$_id", { "$toObjectId": "{{$json["someId"]}}" }] } } this expression will convert a string to a ObjectId. @gravitoad do you need something different? Just let me know.
