Why is Astra the Astra vector db from Datastax not mentioned anywhere?

The idea is:

To have an alternative vector db that seems to be cheaper and faster than others.

My use case:

I use Pinecone is a first approach but I’d love to have an alternative node that can perform in a similar manner as Astra DB

Any resources to support this?

Are you willing to work on this?

Unfortunatly, I don’t have enough coding skills to put such a node into a working alternative to others.

Hey @Bernard_Verhaeghe I really tried to bring this most performant, highly scalable, serverless knowledge layer into n8n, but they are clearly vendor partial/preferntial. @joffcomm clearly is partial and he closed the attempt of mine here, Introduce Astra DB by msmygit · Pull Request #19809 · n8n-io/n8n · GitHub inspite of a couple folks already trying to get this contributed.

You now have the option to include this GitHub - msmygit/n8n-nodes-astradb: Astra DB node community node in your installs and get going. Issues, feature requests and feedback all welcome in that repo!
