Let’s supercharge workflow creation! Make.com lets users describe their automation in plain English, and its AI builds the basic workflow structure.

Proposal: Bring this magic to n8n!

  • User types: “When I get a new Typeform submission, add a row to Google Sheets and send me a Discord message.”
  • n8n’s AI: Generates the initial Typeform Trigger > Google Sheets node > Discord node structure.

Benefits:

  • Massively speeds up building flows.
  • Lowers the barrier for new users significantly.
  • Keeps n8n competitive and incredibly user-friendly.

I’m a designer in the n8n team and this topic is super interesting :slight_smile:

I have a couple of questions for you

  • Would you expect the generated workflow to be ready to run, or would you be willing to tolerate having to modify them manually to make them work?
  • How would you prompt large workflows?

I’ve just seen this video covering an official n8n Prompt-to-Workflow builder but I can’t seem to find any official documentation or mention of it. Guessing it’s Cloud only though which sucks..
