Banned from n8n Discord — account was hacked, requesting appeal

Hi, I was banned from the n8n Discord server. My discord account (kronberx) was hacked and the hacker sent crypto spam to your server through my account — I had nothing to do with it. I’ve since secured my account with a new password and 2FA. Could you please review my ban? I’m an active n8n learner and would love to rejoin the community. (Also I’ve put a clear evidence of that my account was hacked in past, but it’s all sorted now)

Hi @Kronberx creating a new discord account and then joining the server from that account seems more valid. Consider creating a new account and join the server from n8n

A similar thing happened to me recently, I just had to create a new discord and rejoin all previous servers I was in even though I lost access to some paid private servers which is very annoying.

Setting 2fa is a good step you have taken, and I will avoid clicking sus links from strangers.

I completely understand you, but managing two Discord accounts would be quite inconvenient - especially since my main account has all my communities, contacts, and history on it and the @ that I don’t want to lose.

Since the hack has been fully resolved (new password + 2FA enabled), my account is now secure and something like this won’t happen again. Would it be possible to simply unban my main account (kronberx) instead? I’d really prefer to keep everything in one place.

Either way, I’m grateful for your help and understanding!

@Kronberx still, think from a moderators perspective, a hacked account which is banned, has the same reputation as it did when it was spamming, just create a separate account for n8n if that is the main concern, else i do not think so they will take back an account which spammed.
