Connection Lost Websocket issue on Tailscale and Synology

I am trying to set up n8n on my Synology NAS. I have a double NAT issue (my router is plugged into my landlord’s router) and so I opted to use Tailscale to bypass this issue. I can finally run and login to n8n, but I run into a “Connection Lost” issue in the top right corner.

My network log shows that it just keeps disconnecting over and over again and that it might be a Websocket issue.

Can I get some help with this? I am very new to this and only know what I know thanks to the help of AI getting me this far, so if you can use more simple terms when explaining things, I would greatly appreciate that.

For anyone who might stumble across this post, I realized that I hadn’t created a websocket as part of the Reverse Proxy setup in the Synology DSM. Super simple fix that I spent a week or more trying to figure out.
