Course Level 1 Badge not updated

Completed the course Level 1 yesterday but haven’t yet got the badge… dose it usually take sometime?

My badges did not show up as well. I gave it a couple of days appreciating possible delays in processing and verification.

Now I realize that the email address might be the problem. I use, essentially, the same email for both n8n cloud and community accounts. The difference is that for cloud acc I used email with a suffix (like [email protected]) to enable filtering of inbound messages, and for community I signed up using Google OAuth (hence email address doesn’t contain any suffixes).

I signed up for the courses using the email with the suffix assuming it should be rather connected to my cloud account.

Could you please look into it?

If I take other courses on the platform (existing or those to possibly come), what would be the best strategy to avoid this pitfall?

I tried to add the email with the suffix to my community account but it was rejected as it is essentially the same.

Ah yeah that won’t work :sweat_smile: We have an exact match search set up for the badge assignment process.

Let me fix this in your case…

@ria thank you very much for taking on fixing this! I was not really forward-thinking when I was setting up my accounts. Could have built filters with more conventional techniques :sweat_smile:

Hi @Pulkit_Jain

So in your case, the discord message was sent AFTER you had taken the quiz. Since the quiz is the last step in the course, the badge was not applied because at that point the step with the discord message was missing and hence the course was not complete.

I’ve verified your status and applied the badge manually to you now :slight_smile:

Hi, same problem here, I take the quiz before sending the discord message, could you fixe my badge problem ?

It should work if you re-attempt the quiz, could you try that please?

I wanna make sure this works as a self-serve option for other people with the same problem who find this post, as I may not be able to fix everyone’s badges here :sweat_smile:
