Google going nuts

Been using my self hosted n8n on my private domain name hosted on my synology.

Today it showed this:

It is already in a bookmark, so what else is there to do?

It looks like your topic is missing some important information. Could you provide the following if applicable.

  • n8n version:
  • Database (default: SQLite):
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app):
  • Operating system:

Hey @bally,

What version are you using? It could be that you are using n8n as the name and it is not happy about it.

as Jon pointed out, please don’t put n8n in the domain name (in case you are doing that) because Google Safe Browsing has decided that n8n in the domain can automatically mean dangerous.

The fact that all the source of n8n is publicly available doesn’t matter.
The fact that you are hosting this on your own personal infrastructure with a valid certificate doesn’t matter.

You could try reporting the domain here, but I won’t hold my breath for it.

The Behemoth has decided what’s “safe” for us, and there isn’t much we can do to tell them otherwise, besides switching over to another browser.
