Hetzner + Caddy vs Hostinger?

Describe the problem/error/question

According to my reasearch, n8n on Hetzner + Caddy is great but everyone suggest hostinger. Google says for powerful automations go with hetzner, and most of the hostinger hype is affiliate-driven, hostinger throttles under load. What is your experience? I’m thinking of running powerful automations.

What is the error message (if any)?

Hi @NE_automation, I would recommend going through this article “N8N Cloud Vs Self-Hosted | Qixazow”, this would give you a clear point of view on what kind of hosting is suitable for your n8n instance.

I have been learning n8n self-hosted on docker + ngrok but my goal is to have raw power for real business solutions, which is why I am hesitant about Hostinger. I really want to go with Hetzner for the price and power. The only thing that stops me now is the ID verification, as there is a mismatch between my name and my debit card. My debit card has one last name, and my ID has two, so according to my research, if I sign up with Hetzner, the account name must match ID name, but what about the payment mismatch, and I prefer one last name. My question now is, what do you think about DigitalOcean. I heard it can be as good, if not equal to Hetzner+Caddy in terms of power and performance, and if so, would power-users use it in production. Do you have experience with DigitalOcean? I don’t the extra cost.

Thanks that’s a great article!

Thank you very much, that answers my questions!
