I have some questions regarding the n8n license

I have some questions regarding the n8n license.

1 - Hypothetically, can large corporations such as Samsung or LG also use n8n under the “Sustainable Use License” for internal workflow automation? Is this allowed regardless of company size?

2 - Suppose a company stores customer data in Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Sheets. Would using this data with n8n for internal workflow automation be permitted under the “Sustainable Use License”?

3 - Let’s assume we create a customer service chatbot on a website using n8n. The chatbot would handle simple inquiries such as product information, pricing, and refund policies. Would this be allowed under the “Sustainable Use License”?

4 - If we implement a paid consultation feature on a specific platform using n8n, how would the license be applied? Could you also share an approximate cost?

5 - If we use n8n to create a chat-based game application and implement login features such as Google, Apple, or Kakao login, does this mean we cannot use the “Sustainable Use License”?

6 - If we create a chat-based game application using n8n but only use our own login system, would releasing it as a free app be allowed under the “Sustainable Use License”? If we later introduce paid subscriptions or monetization, how would the licensing fees apply?

7 - In the case of proceeding with the n8n Enterprise License, would there be discounts for a one-person company? Is the pricing based on the number of employees?

Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response.

Hi, this is an interesting topic that I’m also curious about. The n8n team could probably give you a more precise answer, but I can provide you with some references on similar topics that have been asked before:

Regarding discounts, n8n has a startup package that you can check out here:
