Is it safe to upgrade n8n from 2.7.4 to the latest stable?

Hi Everyone,

I’m running n8n v2.7.4 and planning to upgrade to the latest stable or near latest version for example 2.30.0. Before I upgrade production, I’d appreciate short feedback and any known risks.

Environment: Deployment: Kubernetes Helm. DB: PostgreSQL.

My question,

Is there any breaking changes between 2.7.4 and latest I should watch for ?

Quick recommended upgrade steps for production?

No, there are no breaking changes within the v2. For details, you can check the changelog

Just back up the database and the encryption key.
