Is there any way to get a notification or alert when we reach a certain percentage of our monthly operations in n8n?

Hey,
Just wanted to check — is there any way to get a notification or alert when we reach a certain percentage of our monthly operations in n8n?
Like how Make sends that “You’ve used 80% of your operations” email.
Does n8n have anything like that? Or any module/trigger we can use to set that up?

  • Email Notifications:

You will receive email notifications as you approach your execution limit, and another notification when you reach 100% of your quota.

  • Workflow Disablement:

Once you reach your monthly execution limit, your active workflows will be automatically paused (disabled) by n8n.

  • Reset on 1st of the Month:

Your execution count will reset on the 1st of the next calendar month, at which point your workflows will be re-enabled and you can resume using n8n.

Thanks for the info!

Just one more thing — would it be possible for you to share a sample of the email notification we receive when:

  1. We’re approaching the monthly execution limit
  2. We’ve hit 100% of our quota

I’m setting up an automation that reads these emails and triggers Slack alerts for our team — so having sample copies would really help me build accurate detection.

I currently do not have an example as I use self hosted version. I would contact support and see if they can provide you with the examples you requested.
