No one has to send you a key, you can request a fresh one yourself. In your instance go to Settings > Usage and plan, select Unlock, enter your email, select “Send me a free license key”, then activate the key from the email you receive.
If activation fails with “Activation key has already been used on this instance”, the instance is already registered, so check whether Settings > Usage and plan shows “Registered”. If it does not, clear the stored license and enter the key again, on Docker:

docker exec -u node -it <your-n8n-container-name> n8n license:clear
