License Activation Problem

Describe the problem/error/question:

I am unable to activate n8n license. I used my email to received activation key but entering it gives me the following message.

What is the error message (if any)?

Activation failed

Activation key has already been used on this instance

Please share your workflow

  • n8n version: 1.114.0
  • Database (default: SQLite):
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app): npx
  • Operating system: Windows

Hi @Usman_Rasheed_Siddiq,

My recommendation is to uninstall and install back the n8n on-premise.

Please also restart the computer after uninstalling.

Thank you so much.
I cleared everything and ran it again. It asked me again for an activation key, sent an email and now it’s working properly.
The email said that the activation key can work within 14 days but I think i should have done it the very moment when I first install n8n.
