The idea is:
Make the Code Node more intuitive. To be able to add pre-defined inputs and expected outputs that you know you’re working with in the code at hand would make the Code Node more intuitive and less of a pain to use. Referencing the variables you want to work with in the code from the web of potential JSON outputs of your workflow is just not friendly. Having the variables pre-defined in the node UI where you can drag and drop JSON items, seems way simpler.
I think it would be beneficial to add this because:
I find the Code Node to have unbelievable potential for quick and easy manipulation of data that could take convoluted and unintuitive loops of other Nodes to accomplish. This could be way simpler, and Gumloop has a great idea on how to accomplish this.
