Hi! I’m working on a scheduled workflow. I have been unable to execute any scheduled tasks due to problems with the credentials. n8n prompts me to recreate the credentials or ask the owner to share them with me. However, I am the owner of the credentials, and I have already recreated them multiple times. I do not know how to fix it.
Hi @Guillermo_Segura, I am sorry to hear you’re having trouble.
Unfortunately you didn’t provide much information here. Can you confirm which version of n8n you are using? Do you have user management enabled or have imported credentials from another instance using user management?
And does the problem persist if you delete and re-add the HTTP Request node from your screenshot (not by copying an old node, but by inserting a new one from scratch)?
With regards to the credential ownership, you mentioned you have already created new credentials but are still seeing this problem. Can you query your n8n database and see if the IDs match up? In the user
table you’d find the ID of your user, would this match the userId
value from the shared_credentials
entity table?
Hi! I appreciate your response. I apologize for not replying sooner. I have been extremely busy these past few months. Thanks to the usage of n8n, I believe I found the root of the problem. I’d like to share it with you and anyone else who might encounter this issue. When using your own workflow, you need to use your own credentials. I was using the credentials of one of my team members, which is why the node was giving me this error message. I hope this information can help others avoid this problem.
