Slack missing scope error

Describe the issue/error/question

When using slack api I get missing scope, I have recreated the app in slack and still the get the error.
This was working on Friday so not sure what has happened since then.

What is the error message (if any)?

ERROR: UNKNOWN ERROR - check the detailed error for more information

Welcome to the community :raised_hands:

Slack is saying that your Slack app doesn’t have the chat:write scope for your bot user. If you go to the app you created in Slack it would be worth making sure it exists for Bot and not just User.

Hi @Jon,

Yes after looking at documentation I realized that admin under user isnt enough.
