Trouble Editing Excel 365 Sheet: Suspected Permission Issue

Continuing the discussion from I can't edit a sheet in Excel 365:

I’m encountering difficulties editing a sheet in Excel 365 using n8n. Despite successfully connecting with my Excel account credentials, I’m unable to locate the desired spreadsheet. When attempting to find the spreadsheet through the “From list” option, no files are displayed. Additionally, inputting the spreadsheet ID, obtained through the “Get All” flow or the OneDrive link, results in an error.

Given these issues, I suspect it might be a permission problem. Could anyone provide assistance in resolving this issue?

It looks like your topic is missing some important information. Could you provide the following if applicable.

  • n8n version:
  • Database (default: SQLite):
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
  • Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app):
  • Operating system:

@EmeraldHerald could you please help me in that?

Hi @Mahmoud_Gabr,

Welcome to the community! :sparkles:

Could you share a bit more about how you are setup? Are you using n8n cloud? Which version?
Furthermore, you mention you get an error when you input your spreadsheet ID directly, what error do you see? Is it the same as here?

Hi @mariana-na ,

Thank you for the warm welcome! It’s great to be a part of this community.

Regarding your questions, I’m currently utilizing the n8n Community self-hosted edition, specifically Version 1.41.1. As for the error you mentioned when inputting the spreadsheet ID directly, I’m encountering the exact same issue.

@n8n I didn’t get my issue solved yet. Could you please help ?
