šŸŽ Unlock these three features for free on your self-hosted community edition!

Unlock additional features for free by registering your self-hosted n8n community edition. You register with your email and receive a license key. This key unlocks:

  • Debug in editor - copy and pin execution data when working on a workflow
  • 1-day workflow history - you get 24 hours to revert back to a previous workflow version
  • Custom execution data - save, find, and annotate execution metadata

You can register in your Settings, under Usage and Plan.

Once activated, your license will not expire. We may change the unlocked features in the future. This will not impact previously unlocked features.

Find this explanation also in the docs.

I cant see the unlock button on the mentioned page. Is this available only on a certain version? I am on 1.62.5

Since this is a new ā€˜featureā€™, you need a new version of n8n too - update to at least 1.63.0.

@bartv

Donā€™t see it either:

This is awesome! Thank you :pray:

Itā€™s not in the side menu, itā€™s under ā€œUsage and planā€

@Luan

And whereā€™s the ā€œUsage and planā€ (supposed to be) ?

Love it! Thanks Bart!!

@shrey-42 are you logged in as the owner of the instance? Or did you set N8N_HIDE_USAGE_PAGE to true? See the License environment variables page.

Iā€™m just doing n8n POC, would be glad to have those features unlocked, however my test environment does not have access to internet . Is there a way to ā€œregisterā€/ get the key ā€œofflineā€?

Iā€™m afraid not - your instance must be able to reach our license server.

Thank you, I think! (I still have a bit of a learning curve before I understand what this means, but it looks intriguing.)

I sure do need a little hand-holding to get started here.

My primary use case for getting started with n8n is automating some things among some instances of Discourse forums which I also self-host.

Any examples of workflows integrating with Discourse would be greatly appreciated!!!

(I am an active developer in the Discourse Meta Community.)

I use Disourse with n8n here (obviously!) and for a large forum that I run as a side-job. Happy to share my experiences - feel free to send me a DM.

That was indeed the case. Thanks.

Whatā€™s the benefit on n8nā€™s end by doing this?

Hey @Jannispkz, thatā€™s a fair question!

We always try to give as much away for free as we can. This is why weā€™re happy to make these additional features available in exchange for a little information. The email address helps us to understand who is using the Community edition before switching to a paid plan. Note that registering for this key does not sign you up for any marketing emails.
