Did I get scammed !? I purchased a year of Pro-10000, received a receipt form Jacob Knight...? NO User access, no other information from n8n

There is NO HELP or SUPPORT from n8n and I think I got scammed!!

I can see why this would be concerning, especially if you’ve already been charged and don’t have access yet. Just to better understand. how did you purchase the plan? Was it directly through the official n8n website or via a third-party/platform?

If it was through the official flow, I wouldn’t assume it’s a scam right away. In most cases this ends up being an email/account mismatch, so I’d double-check which email received the receipt and try a password reset with that one.

It’s also worth reviewing the receipt details to confirm it’s coming from n8n’s official billing provider. And if everything looks correct but you still don’t have access, reaching out to n8n support with the receipt should help resolve it quickly.

Thank you for the quick response. It looked like the n8n website…. the checkout also looked just like the official website. However I’ve not received anything from n8n, only a receipt from some Jacob Knight @tripe.com and when I checked with my bank, it said Pre-authorization from n8nio.io, for the full amount of $600.00

This being a technology company, I would have assumed that I would have received an email or something from n8n, if not my login and password information by now. I DID NOT go to an affiliate link, I searched from Google for “n8n ai website”.

It was Jacob Knight at stripe.com (auto correct is a pain some times)

Based on what you described, this doesn’t sound like a scam. Payments for n8n are typically processed via Stripe, so it’s normal for the receipt to come from a Stripe sender (sometimes showing an individual name associated with the account). The “n8nio.io” reference from your bank is also consistent with n8n billing.

What likely happened here is that the account either wasn’t fully created or is tied to a different email than expected. I’d recommend the following steps:

  • Try a password reset using the email that received the receipt: https://app.n8n.cloud/login
  • Double-check if you may have used a different email during checkout
  • Look for any emails from n8n in your spam/junk folder

The reason I created this question here is because I couldn’t find any n8n Support. Not an email, not a website, nothing. I did try to login with my email account and request a new password. But I’ve not received anything from n8n.

If I’ve paid whatever amount, shouldn’t they send me an email notification with all of this information? Why would I have to “Start a free trial” if they have received my full payment? I don’t get that…. Yes I can start a new free trial, and pay again…. I’m not willing to do that.

@REM_In_Texas what I have seen people do is create an account then upgrade their plan after, but yours is a different case as you have made a purchase without having an account.

Best bet is to reach out to support if you don’t find what I say helpful.
