n8n Custom Node Development — Free Community Support Offer
My Goal
Hey n8n community! 
I’m Batuhan, a developer who actively uses n8n for both personal and professional automation projects. In my free time, I’d love to give back to the community by helping others and contributing open-source work.
That’s why I’ve decided to build custom n8n nodes for free — for anyone who needs one.
If you have an idea like “I wish n8n had a node for this…”, feel free to drop it in the comments below. I’ll pick ideas in my free time, code them from scratch in TypeScript, and publish them on npm so everyone can use them easily. 
What Kind of Nodes Can I Build?

API integrations (custom CRMs, ERPs, SaaS platforms)

Data transformation or parsing utilities

Advanced conditional, looping, or mapping nodes

Image / OCR / file processing nodes
-
AI or LLM integrations (OpenAI, HuggingFace, Anthropic, etc.)
Basically, anything that’s missing from n8n’s core nodes or that your workflow needs specifically. 
How It Works

Comment here or DM me your custom node idea.

I’ll review and outline a small plan depending on complexity.

I’ll code it, publish it on GitHub, and release it on npm.

Anyone can install it via the standard
n8n-nodes-{node-name}format.
All nodes will be fully open-source — community contributions are welcome!
Call for Ideas
The best part of this community is how open and collaborative it is.
Your idea might become a node that helps hundreds of users. 
Even a simple comment like “a node for X would be nice” is enough to start.

Each release will include documentation and examples.
