My account is running on farmpine.app.n8n.cloud, and I need static outbound IP address(es) so I can whitelist them in Shiprocket. Shiprocket restricts PII access (customer phone) to whitelisted IPs only. Please provide the public outbound IP(s) used by my account (or a set of IPs/NAT IP) that I can add to Shiprocket’s API user IP whitelist.
Reason: Shiprocket requires IP whitelisting to return unmasked customer phone numbers
If static outbound IPs are not available on my plan, please advise recommended alternatives (e.g., a managed NAT IP, dedicated/static egress IP, or guidance to host a small proxy).
I think your best option is buying a proxy. This is not an ad but I use proxycheap and they have unlimited data fixed IP proxies. This will only work if you can input the proxy creds in nodes like the HTTP node. Or nodes that accept proxy creds to make a request.
I’ve run into this exact hurdle before while building automation for shipping and logistics. The n8n Cloud outbound IPs are generally dynamic and shared, which usually doesn’t play well with strict whitelists like Shiprocket’s.
How we can solve this:
The Proxy Approach: I can help you set up a small, lightweight proxy on a VPS (like DigitalOcean or AWS) with a dedicated static IP. We’ll route only your Shiprocket API calls through this proxy while keeping the rest of your workflows on n8n Cloud.
Self-Hosting Migration: Alternatively, I specialize in deploying and managing self-hosted n8n instances on Docker/Ubuntu. Moving to your own server gives you full control over your static IP and is often more cost-effective as you scale.
Implementation: I can quickly build the bridge for you so Shiprocket sees a consistent, whitelisted IP and returns the unmasked customer data you need.
Why work with me?
I’m Mikhail, an automation specialist and developer. I have extensive experience with Docker, server-side automation, and complex API integrations. I recently built an automated debt management and notification system that required similar secure data handling.
