If i subscribe now, will the project be back to the account or will it be deleted forever?

Your workflows are likely recoverable ONLY IF the account is within 90 days trial period, it would not stay forever until unless you have an auto pay on for n8n cloud, as it will expire and will be deleted automatically in 90 days, what i would say is that go to your Admin Dashboard → Manage → Export to download your workflows, and then you can just buy your n8n cloud and then get your workflows running anytime you want.

I would recommend using a self-hosted n8n instance for testing and storing your workflows first, since you keep full control of your data and can later move to n8n Cloud when you are ready to subscribe.
