Hello, I would like to request an official node for Apprise, a self-hosted open-source project that allows sending notifications to almost all of the most popular notification services available.
Basically, it’s one notification library to rule them all.

Benefits to n8n:

  • This will open up a ton of possibilities when playing around notifications directly without the need to add nodes of every popular notification service on earth.

  • Indirectly increase the number of supported nodes by n8n dramatically.

Hi @physx911 !

I was interested in a node for Apprise as well, and took the Node-a-thon as an opportunity to build it out! You can see the node on npm here and add it as a community node in your n8n instance. Note that you will need a self-hosted Apprise API instance configured via a credential, but then you should be able to leverage push notifications as you’re used to with Apprise!

Let me know if this works for you or if you have any thoughts/recommendations for this node!
