Self Hosted Confusing License Description

Hey!

I think the license overall is a bit confusing.

Shown on this Screenshot on a self hosted version:

Behind the modal it’s the says “Community Edition”,
in the modal “Sustainable Use License + n8n Enterprise License”

Then on the following docs site:

there stand whats all included in the community edition

on the following Site from the docs

stands on the top in the box:

I mean i don’t wanna complain - n8n is a great piece of software and still currently the best in my opinion but shouldn’t get the self hosted versions these features? i mean not all of course, but variables would be nice? Otherwise it’s your decision to give them to the whole SF crowd. So just keep in mind about the confusing descriptions, fix it in a free minute (other things has more priority  ) and everything will be fine.

Wish you all a great easter egg with a big bunny

Sustainable Use License
This is a type of self-hosted license that allows n8n to limit “free” use when a high volume of business use is reached (many workflows, many users, scaling).

It doesn’t prevent you from running n8n, but it is a form of legal protection for the project and an invitation to large companies to contribute financially.

Yerp, and btw there a description on how it can be used commerically, Sustainable Use License | n8n Docs

Also if u need vars, u can use env var maybe via execution node? idk, personally not needed todo it yet, you could raise as feature request if no one has done yet, see how many people vote on it?

Wishing you bunny easter eggs too haha
