Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing an issue with my n8n Cloud trial instance.
Whenever I try to execute a workflow, I immediately get:
“Problem running workflow – Lost connection to the server”
Even a brand-new workflow with only a Manual Trigger node fails. No executions are being created at all.
What I’ve already tested:
Different browsers
Incognito mode
Different networks
A completely new workflow with only a Manual Trigger
The issue persists in all cases.
It seems like the execution worker might not be responding, but I’m not sure if this is something I can fix from my side in Cloud.
Has anyone experienced this before?
Is there anything I can try before waiting for support to restart the instance?

Restart your instance from the n8n Cloud dashboard, this sometimes helped.
if a standard restart doesn’t wake it up, try changing your n8n version.

Head over the cloud admin dashboard, and in settings select either the rollback or upgrade your n8n instance (change) so that you can get a new version and let me know if that works.
Since you’re on Cloud and already tried every client-side thing, this is almost certainly a server-side issue with your trial instance. Reach out to help.io and ask them to restart it on their end, the admin dashboard restart doesn’t always cut it for this particular problem.
